WAXWING (FW SERIES) Lures
The Shimano Waxwing is the next generation of hard bodied lure and has proven itself time and time again on hard fighting saltwater species, so have released two sizes that suit freshwater applications for 2013.
Simply cast the lure and allow it sink to the desired depth where the fish are holding then begin a steady retrieve. This lure's innovative design imparts an enticing side-to-side action that will spark a trout or salmons natural prey-drive insticts. Available is two sizes (48mm/6.8g and 58mm/11.4g) and in three natural colour options.
Whilst tagged as a 'freshwater lure' these smaller Waxwing Lures are also ideal for casting to schools of kahawai and small tuna or to snapper when pitched in to the shallows around kelp headlands and white water.
