The 2012/13 season season the release oft he new T-Curve Revolution Vertical Series - Mechanical Jig range of rods offer Kiwi anglers that want to drop medium to heavy jigs on inshore and offshore pins for angry kings an affordable option. These rods are cosmetically stunning, parabolic and have proved themselves on all of the tests we have given them. Available in 150-250gram and 200-400gram lure ratings and in both spin and overhead configurations - these jig rods have it covered and from the initial reaction of some of the top charter boat skippers that fish for kings day in, day out - they are as impressed as we are!


Slow Jigging is a technique that was made popular with the introduction of the Shimano Lucanus, Bottomship and recently the Williamson Raku lures and since then there have been many advancements in the gear to get the job done - Shimano have recently released as part of their T-Curve Revolution Vertical Series a new range of rods designed with slow jigging in mind.

Built on a light and responsive TC3 blank with stunning cosmetics the Slow Jig range is available in two overhead weights - the 55-150gram and the 100-200gram. Combo'd up with a Shimano Trinidad 10 or new Calcutta 200D reel loaded with 20lb Power Pro braid and you have a match made in fishing heaven!
